SKULLCANDY
A most unusual holiday gift
With a limited budget and the desire to give a holiday gift to our athletes, musicians, artist, influencers, and brand ambassadors we had to get creative. We partnered with a California winery, hired a muralist, found a laser engraver, and bought some silver sharpies.

125 Wine Boxes
Skullcandy partnered with the Saarloos & Sons Winery in northern California which gave us 125 bottles of red wine and 125 boxes. We stained the boxes black and had then custom-lined them with soft black foam to protect the bottles.
The Mural
We then took all 125 box lids and glued them to a wall in a grid pattern to create one large canvas. We hired PUSH, a local artist to paint a mural across all 125 lids which allowed each lid to become a unique piece of art and part of a larger work.

The Label
The design is simple. We took a high-res photo of the final mural and then created a one-color vector of that pattern which we then had printed in black and silver foil. along with the Skullcandy logo. This added a bit of bling for the holiday season with tinsel as our inspiration.
For the back of the bottle, we included the Skullcandy + Saarloos & Sons Co. logo lockup and the wine information and well as website URL.
